Every story
has a comeback.

“When I lost my leg, I thought the hardest part would be learning to move again. But what caught me off guard was the mental weight—the frustration of clothes that didn’t fit my prosthetic, fabrics that wore out too fast, and styles that made me feel limited instead of myself.

That struggle became the spark for Aurushi. I wanted apparel that reflected resilience, not restriction—clothing that gave me back confidence in how I carried myself.

But my comeback didn’t stop there. What truly gave me strength was connecting with others in the amputee and adaptive community—people redefining what’s possible every day, whether through movement, creativity, or advocacy. Through them, I saw that a comeback isn’t just personal—it’s collective. It’s about lifting each other up, building belonging, and making sure no one feels alone in their journey.

Aurushi was created from that belief: that adaptive apparel should honor not just the body, but also the mindset and the community that fuel every comeback.”

A movement for us, by us.

Aurushi is creating a space where amputees and the adaptive community can share resources, swap lived experiences, and support one another in ways that truly matter. From managing prosthetic fittings to navigating accessibility, from finding adaptive sports opportunities to connecting with advocacy efforts—our goal is to make sure no one has to figure it out alone.

Comebacks take many forms.
Sometimes it’s physical.
Sometimes it’s mental.
Sometimes it’s finding the courage to speak up for others.

Whatever yours looks like, this community exists to celebrate it, and to give you tools, knowledge, and connection to keep moving forward.
